Ionization chambers

The manual for the Munich MUSIC (the MUSIC-80) is available on-line ( TUM MUSIC [new window!] ).
At the FRS the MUSIC-80 is often run with P10 gas (90 %Ar, 10% CH4). For this gas the cathode voltage should be -1200 V.

Please contact John Winfield or Soumya Bagchi for more information.
They have access to the various preamplifier chip sets with different amplification.
