September 2003
New output from the Current Digitiser is added for both the SEETRAM and the Ionisation Chamber. The new output signal is taken immediately after the current-to-voltage converter and is not filtered at all (see figure below). The old output signal is filtered with two filters of time constants of 0.1 s and 1 s. Both outputs are available and read by DAQ. The old SEETRAM output is sent to scaler in channel 3, and the new one in the channel 9. In the case of the Ionisation Chamber, the new and the old outputs from the Current Digitiser are sent to scaler into channels 12 and 11, respectively.

 

August 2003
The new version of Brohm's code to calculate the yields of secondary electrons is given to people at HKR. New version takes into account the change of the material of the middle foil in SEETRAM (aluminium to titanium)

 

July 2003
Efficiency of the SEETRAM (Al-Ti-Al) as the function of the beam position is measured in the July test run (K. Suemmerer et al.). Results are shown on the figure below. The measurement was performed with 124Sn at 600 A MeV.
