At the GSI-FRS resides a considerable Gas Supply System for the following gases/gas blending:

Ar/CO₂^*	80%Ar/20%CO₂	5.0/4.5	B	outside ESR hall
P10	90%Ar/10%CH₄	5.0/3.5	B (normally)/C	outside ESR hall
CF₄	100%	UHP	B (normally)/C	inside ESR hall
H₂	100%	6.0	C	outside ESR hall

* Important: The admixture with traces of n-Heptanes is stopped since March 29, 2004 !!

The standard applications of these gases are:

Ar/CO₂	Current Grid (CG), Multi Wire (MW)
P10	MUSIC, Ionisation Chamber (IC), TPC
CF₄	MUSIC80
H₂	LH₂-Target, IKAR

The responsibility for the supply with these gases it's up to the FRS, except the supply for Ar/CO₂: this is guaranteed by the Detector Laboratory.
